Who we are

thisDock (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides dock-management and scheduling software to warehouses and logistics operators. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. Questions? Email [email protected].

Information we collect

Account data — for warehouse staff: name, email, role, and company.
Operational data — loads, appointments, doors, carriers, and dock activity entered by users.
Driver check-in data — when a driver checks in at a gate, we collect the mobile number, name, carrier, and (optionally) trailer/reference they provide.
Usage data — basic logs needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use information

We use information to operate the service: schedule and track loads, assign dock doors, and send operational notifications (including text messages) to the people involved in a delivery or pickup. We do not use personal information for unrelated advertising.

SMS / text messaging

Consent to receive SMS messages is optional and is collected separately through an SMS consent checkbox on the check-in form.

When a driver provides a mobile number through a warehouse’s gate check-in form, that number is used only to send operational text messages about their visit — such as door-ready alerts, gate instructions, and appointment or wait-time updates.

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in, or consent data with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is used solely to deliver the messages described above.

Message frequency varies based on dock activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOPat any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not affect a driver’s ability to be served at the dock.

How we share information

We share data only with service providers that help us run the platform (e.g., cloud hosting and our SMS carrier) under contracts that limit their use of it, and when required by law. We do not sell personal information.

Data retention & security

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it. We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, audit logging) to protect data.

Your choices

Drivers can opt out of texts any time by replying STOP. Warehouse users can request access to or deletion of their account data by emailing [email protected].

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date.
